Whether donating as an individual or on a corporate level, Friends Of The Troops gratefully accepts in-kind donations, or items that can be sent in care packages to our troops.

We also have a much-needed list of items for military families and children who need assistance throughout the year.

For CARE PACKAGES, one of our greatest needs is for pre-packaged and shelf-stable food and snack items. Some hygiene items are also in high-demand and are often hard to come by overseas.

We ask that you only donate items that are brand new and have not expired. Our service members deserve only the very best.

Contact us if you would like to make a donation in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area to arrange a pick up. Donations in other areas may be directed to either our headquarters in Tennessee or to one of our nearest regional representatives.

We highly encourage church groups, school groups, scout troops, businesses, social clubs and benevolent organizations to partner with us to coordinate donation drive events.

We love to see communities come together to support our troops!

If you’d like to directly ship items to us for military families or care packages, we do have a post office box but ask that all packages be sent to the following physical address:

Friends Of The Troops

2003 Holden Farm Place

Ooltewah, TN 37363

This address can also accept multiple pallet donations, as well, but delivery trucks must be equipped with a lift gate. Please call us for more information at 423-599-9901. Thank you!

To donate items, contact us at (423) 599-9901
or send an email to
support@friendsofthetroops.org

You may also shop and ship directly to us from Amazon or Walmart, where we have created Wish List of care package items.

We also have an Amazon Wish List of greatly-needed items to assist military families.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT ORDERING FROM OUR AMAZON WISH LISTS:

  • When shopping the Amazon Wish Lists, please remember to select the “Friends Of The Troops Registry Address” at checkout to ensure the items ship directly to us to save on shipping.

  • We also kindly ask that you please include a gift note/receipt containing your name and/or business so we will know who the donations are from.

  • Please also note that Amazon has changed its gift receipt process, and we are no longer able to thank those who send us items through the wish lists, nor will Amazon allow you to include an email address on the gift note. We hate this because we personally want to thank each and every donor for their gifts!

  • If you would like a donation receipt or would like confirmation that your donation has arrived, PLEASE email us at support@friendsofthetroops.org and tell us what’s coming, and we’ll be happy to send you a donation receipt or notify you once the item(s) are received.

Thank you!

Please note that if you order from Walmart (or if you ship items to us from Amazon without a gift receipt), we are not being provided with any donor or sender information - no names or paperwork whatsoever.

Please contact us at 423-599-9901 or email support@friendsofthetroops to let us know if you’ve sent something to Friends Of The Troops, so we can thank you and ensure you receive a donation receipt.

Friends Of The Troops often helps veterans and service members (including those in the guard and reserve components) who are food insecure and/or homeless. When we are notified of someone in dire need, we put together quick, on-the-go food options along with hygiene and other needed items. This wish list will help us fill food and hygiene boxes for current or former service members who need quick food assistance or for those experiencing homelessness. We work with partner agencies to get the unhoused into stable housing, but oftentimes, there is a period of up to 3 months where the homeless veteran (or service member) is in dire need of some basics while living in a shelter or car. These items will be delivered directly to those in need.

For Military Families who have fallen on hard times or who have endured a disaster (tornado, house fire, etc.), we collect items throughout the year to assist with basic necessities - underwear, socks, household, baby and hygiene items. We also collect toys and new clothing for Military Children, which we distribute at Christmas.
